There are a lot of myths about domestic violence floating around in our communities. This graphic names just some of them. It is important to remember that the victim is never at fault, the abusive act was a choice, that there are many reasons why leaving the abusive relationship is difficult, and that abuse is everywhere in our communities. Abuse is not a private matter, it is a social problem. We must be aware in order to be educated about it.
